A Few Words of Thanks
The Shattered Isles are always growing. New Behemoths. New quests. New items. New abilities.
With every update — to both the game and all of the material around it, including this blog — comes a massive amount of new words that excite, entertain, and explain. But before they reach you, every word is carefully translated by a dedicated team of translators who volunteer their spare time, dedicate their precious energy, and share their inspiring passion to help us bring Dauntless to the rest of the world.
Each of our translators — from the newest recruit to our most veteran editor — is an integral part of our community. Together, we’ve accomplished something truly amazing (many times over) through nothing short of a heroic effort on their part.
Right now, Slayers can play Dauntless in English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Brazilian Portuguese. And thanks to the hard work of our translation team, they’ll soon be able to play in Japanese, Russian, and Polish as well.
Without our translators, the world of Dauntless wouldn’t be what it is today. Complete translations are at the core of our most social features, like the Hunt Pass and easy matchmaking across servers. They help us bring people together, from wherever they are, for a powerfully cooperative experience.
So, to every member of our volunteer translation team: Thank you. For all of the dialogue, the helpful tooltips, and the Mastery objectives. For compelling lore and weapon names. For helping us reach new Slayers around the world and take our place on consoles with confidence.
Most of all, thank you for helping us bring our One Dauntless vision to life.
