OB 0.4.4 sets the stage for The Coming Storm, delivering a wide assortment of bug fixes, quality of life improvements, and updates based on community feedback.

  • Drop rates for rare part breaks have been slightly lowered for pre-Maelstrom Behemoths.

  • Increased the number of upgrades available for Embermane, Skraev, Drask, Nayzaga, Pangar, Hellion, Stormclaw, and Kharabak gear.

  • Medic cell no longer triggers on self-revive. The healing values of medic cells have also been adjusted from 10%, 20%, 30%, 30%, 50%, 100% to 5%, 10%, 20%, 20%, 30%, 40% respectively.

  • Rezakiri’s tail hitbox has been adjusted to improve the reliability of attacks.

  • Jumping no longer costs stamina. Don’t be claiming that it’s mental.

  • Stormhammer has a new passive ability and will now automatically reload one shell when Slayers execute a perfect dodge.

  • Rezakiri will now heal if Slayers disengage from its encounter. The fromagers union has lodged an official complaint.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Players can sometimes get into a bad state if they send invites to each other at the same time. We are working on a more permanent fix for this. In the meantime, you can temporarily resolve this issue by opening your Gameplay settings in the Options menu, toggling to block all party invites, and then going back to your original invite settings.

  • When infusing two cells at a time into gear, sometimes one of the two will be removed and not properly infused. We are digging into the cause but in the meantime, please infuse carefully!

  • Chest pieces may appear to be the wrong body type in the airship lobby.

  • Slayers will not automatically be put into a hunt when the airship timer hits zero. All players must ready up prior to departing. We are investigating and working on a systemic fix for this!

  • Subtitles for the cinematics will only show up in English. We are working on expanding this to other languages.

  • Embermane’s tailswipe attack may still happen after its tail has been severed.

  • Some menus may not update after infusing a cell. If that happens: exit the menu, when you relaunch it should show up.

  • Exotics may interact with each other in unintended and exotic ways. We are working on making these play nicer!

  • We are aware that some users are getting disconnected after every hunt and we are investigating the cause.

  • Behemoths may occasionally walk in irregular patterns. Fix this by slaying them. We’re serious. If they do this, slay them.
