OB 0.5.13 introduces Rockfall Skarn, new gear, and a stylish new main menu. The patch is rounded out by bug fixes and balance improvements.


  • New Dire. Ready your weapons. Rockfall Skarn has arrived in the Maelstrom.

  • New cell. Grant your nearest ally a portion of any shield you’ve applied to yourself with the Guardian cell.

  • New weapons, armour, and prism. Harness the raw power of the Rockfall with powerful gear and a new Stoneheart prism for your repeaters.

  • New Main Menu design. The Main Menu has undergone a complete rework! This is ongoing work, so please let us know if you run into any bugs.


  • Slayers will now have a choice of two weapons (instead of just one) in Weaponsmith daily and weekly challenges. This change gives Slayers more flexibility and more opportunity to use preferred loadouts.

  • Fixed a bug that could cause blocked players not to save to the /block list.

  • Party invites received during a cinematic will be queued for later interaction.

  • Dyes applied to the eyes on the Shrowd Hood now result in a more visible colour change. We speak mathematics and build.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented some players from claiming their free recruit dye bundle.

  • Blitz Tonic’s buff icon will no longer be overwritten when using Drask Lantern (and vice versa).

  • Players will see their elemental status effects on Skarn’s rocks as well as its body.

  • Improved the reliability of Tragic Echo triggering if it’s available.

  • Fixed a bug that caused Maelstrom expeditions to encounter heroic Razorwing instead of standard Razorwing.

  • Made it so that exploration music won’t be interrupted by combat music if one of your huntmates starts the battle. You do you, boo boo.

  • Fixed a bug that could cause eyes and eyebrows to disappear on transmogged helmets. 👀

  • Fixed some bugs that prevented daily and weekly challenges from giving credit for defeated Behemoths.

  • Fixed a bug where damage numbers shown to the players were correct but damage actually being dealt was less than intended in some circumstances.

  • Fixed a bug that could cause Prismatic Grace (Rezakiri exotic helmet) to trigger improperly after being downed.

  • Fixed a bug that caused part of the sword’s Rising Elements combo not to do damage.

  • Added new SFX that trigger when aether shields pop.

  • Fixed a variety of bugs that could cause sounds to get stuck in a loop.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented wounded Riftstalker parts from taking damage.

  • Fixed a bug where the Armoursmith reputation track would not grant retroactive experience for the armour that was crafted prior to unlocking it.

  • Fixed a bug that caused Shrowd’s aetheric realm to show for other players in the party.


  • Wound health bars for Behemoth parts are now scaled by 40% per additional player (down from 66%). This should make wounding parts in four-slayer groups about 35% easier.

  • Fixed a bug that caused Maelstrom Behemoths to have more max health when fighting in groups. Maelstrom Behemoths will now have around 7% more health when fighting solo and 8.5 less health when fighting in a group of four. For heroic fights, four-slayer Behemoths will have about 15% less health than previously. Our goal here is to fix bugs and ensure that playing with friends makes the game easier and more fun.

  • Grenades will now bounce off of and land near Rezakiri Prisms instead of going straight through.

  • Area of effect attacks centered inside Rezakiri Prisms will now correctly deal damage to the Prism.
